The origin of Adarsh college Ghailarh- Jiwachpur, Madhepura (Bihar) took place on 5^th September 1985, the “Teacher’s Day” Dr Yogendra Prasad Yadav, an educationist and philanthropist took all the initiatives to establish the college. The cooperation of local people, who have a loving attitude towards education helped in their own ways to shape the institution.

The geographical circle of the college is outstanding. It is situated in a place (Jiwachpur) from where three districts, Madhepura, Saharsa, and Supaul are the same distance 18 kilometres from each of the districts. And thus it promoty boys and girls for education in a remote and economically backward area.
